Functional brace for knee stabilisation

A torn ligament, ligament injury or meniscus surgery may mean that the knee joint needs to be stabilised externally during sporting activities. SecuTec® Genu is a lightweight but strong knee brace designed to conform to the anatomy of the leg. It is easy to put on and take off, fits perfectly and is very comfortable to wear.

HIGH-TECH technology
The SecuTec Genu brace is robust but lightweight. This is made possible by a special high-strength lightweight metal alloy. Breathable, non-slip pads ensure that the brace sits securely and comfortably on the foot.

Stability and comfort
SecuTec Genu is simply fitted to the leg from the front. There is therefore no need to bend the knee joint sharply. This minimises stress on ligaments or ligamentous structures that are under pressure. The brace is easy to fasten with Velcro fasteners for a perfect fit.

The brace has the possibility of being adjusted independently:

• Flexion: 0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°,90°, 120°
• Extension: 10°, 20°, 30°, 45°
• Fixation: 0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, 45°

Indications: instability after anterior and/or posterior cruciate ligament (ACL/PCL) tears, after ligament surgeries/ligament reconstructions, severe and/or complex instability (traumatic, degenerative), to define the range of motion of the knee joint (e.g. after lateral ligament injury, meniscus suture or meniscus replacement), conservative and postoperative therapy after patella fracture
